Spam Pop Ups with Safelinking

Post by Normski » Sun Jun 18, 2017 7:02 pm

Hi,
Not sure if you're aware but spam pop ups keep coming up with Safelinking and it won't allow you to access the download links. Is there anything you can do?

Many thanks,

Norms

Unfortunately there isn't.
You can try telling Safelinking. Its possible they are not aware of this.

Thanks

Use Ublock. Solves the problem.

Code: Select all

you can try noscript as well

Code: Select all

https://noscript.net/

and/or if you have ABP, use "open blockable items" and select the one that's triggering the popup (same with noscript), it's typically an IP link

I've heard that right clicking all links and "Open in new window" will help. Shaanig's was terrible about re-directs. There is a new add blocker out for Firefox and others named "Adguard". Much better that ABP or others IMO.
